Attending the expo is a win-win for everyone. Minority businesses are given an opportunity to promote and market their products and services, and larger, established companies can discover potential partners, opening up an array of business opportunities for both. In short, it makes good business sense to attend, whether you are a minority business, or a large, established company seeking minority businesses to collaborate on current and future business projects.

Procurement

PhoenixTech, is owned by Thomas, an African-American Army veteran with a high security clearance, his company was awarded a large contract to maintain the servers at a local U.S. Army Reserve base. However, PhoenixTech does not have current resources to maintain a large contract, nor did Thomas want to miss the opportunity to expand his business. Thomas contacted a large, state-wide IT company, with military clearance, and offered them a subcontract to service the army base servers, making it possible for PhoenixTech to keep the contract, and expand its' business without compromising its resources.
