We are very pleased that the Legislature has 4 Latino elected officials. They have now formed the Utah State Legislature Hispanic Caucus. They are Senators Luz Robles and Ross Romero and Representatives Rebecca Chavez-Houck and Mark Wheatley. This is without precedent and hope that more Latinos become actively involved in Utah’s civic life. The Latin American Chamber is committed to see more Latinos in Utah involved and will launch initiatives from its Public Policy Committee to raise awareness and engagement.
